u mean hack in or setup ur comp with ur schools network... either way that's a no-no on the site(i think).

any networking question is O.K. angel, just as long as he isn't trying to hack any networks...

setting up a wired network:
You will need 2 Eithernet cards, a Hub, eithernet cable,  First install the two cards, most cards now days are plug-and-play, then when you turn on the computer, it'll be detected.  But before you boot up, make sure you have cable connecting the 2 cards to the hub. To share files, you need to go into network under controle pannel, and check "Microsoft File and Printer sharing" then all you have to do is right click on the folder you want to share, click on the sharing tab, and check share this folder.  and that's it, any questions post here,

Wireless: Same procedure as wired.  Just make sure to configure the wireless base station
