You mean besides downloading stuff at 5-10 kb/s, when I can get about 700 kb/s? :P

well my download speed nevet gets past 3.5 kb/s, haha so I wouldn't know.
I will say when I would stay at my sisters house and use her DSL my download speeds would be pretty decent, 300-600ish kb/s.

It also depends on the file, but usually downloads were very slow. I always avoided that site.

I found your solution :)
Premium Membership
Support the site, upgrade today and reap the benefits
TES Nexus is owned and paid for solely by myself. Using 3 servers, the site costs a lot of money to run and maintain. I receive revenue from advertising found across the site, but am also supported by generous members of the community willing to pay for additional features on the site. Without either of these revenue streams TES Nexus would not be able to continue, or develop, as it is.
Features
TES Nexus has only been running since the 20th of September so many of the premium features of the site are still under development. However, there are currently two advantages to becoming a premium member:
Uncapped file downloads. Normal members are capped to downloading at 150kb/sec to reduce congestion. Premium members can download from the file servers at the maximum speed possible.
No advertising. Premium members will never see advertisements on this site.

The only problem being that it's subscription-based (and I pretty much never play Oblivion anymore; all those mods are a pain) plus I don't fancy paying when I get get them faster elsewhere plus of course that you can't see the pricing because some wise guy thought that only registered members could see the pricing models. Yes, great work that.

Yea I learned the hard way about the mods being a pain part :(
One time I sorta over did it....I had like 30+ mods installed...
Game started to go crazy...I couldn't go in towns, horses would attack me, men had womens voices, Deer where floating in the air.....LMAO
Long story short I re installed the game and I never put that many mods in at one time anymore. I stick with 4-6 TOPS.

You just have to understand and find out what's causing problems, but it can be a pain. There should be better tools for that...
But LOL @ all those glitches.

Yea there is a tool you can run that will detect if there is a conflict between plugins but I didn't think to use it.

Oh yes, but it's still hard to know what's wrong and what mod to disable or move load order and so on. It's not a miracle working. I would know since I've used one.

The order is no biggie there is a tool named Oblivion Mod Manager (http://timeslip.chorrol.com/obmm_download.html)
Well back in the day I went mod nuts I didn't know to much about modding to tell what order to put them in, now I do though.
haha my `Downloaded Mods` folder for oblivion is 1.11GB I might go back and put in 50 mods this time.....NOT. My luck my computer would pull out a sword and behead me, and it would start raining deer -_-.
OMG I have to many mods. Check it out Mods I've downloaded (http://vince.emuxhaven.net/fulllist.txt)
and the bad thing is I wont even delete older versions *shrugs*, guess I'm just a pack rat.

Changing the order is not hard, but knowing HOW to change the order is the thing. Oh, and to get updates for all those mods you've downloaded? Nightmare! How do you even know what version you have and where to get new versions and replace them (and probably cause more problems)!?
It's a nice idea, but unfortunately, it isn't working too well.

Well all mods come with a version number, the ones I've downloaded anyway. All mods I download I have; well had a direct link to them on TES Source. Plus when I downloaded them like 88% I got while at my sisters using her great dsl, and 20% my near life long friend Jai downloaded for me and would bring them down to my house.
About a month ago my sister got married (woot #3 for her) and moved 90 miles away. There goes my high speed source.....So yea....thinking about finding all these mods again on the new Nexus Source on my connection...? nightmare sums it up very nicely haha.
Unless you want to find all the updates for me and burn them to a DVD and mail it to me? :)

Actually, I don't think I want to do such a thing unless you pay a huge fee, which you probably don't want.
Haha... so that means... no, I think?
