Hi I was wondering what are the best emulators for nes and snes that will play on my ps2?

umm, I doubt it is even possible to play roms on a PS2 in that manner.
X-box though is a diferent uestion, it is essentially a computer with it's own special software and case. People have been able to install linux on those even. I am sorry I can't help you, but I don't think it is possible, software wise a PS3 just isn't meant to be used as a computer.

actually you can play emulators on ps2.. but they pretty much suck compared to the emu's on dreamcast.

really? I did not know that and I am surprised. How does that work though, do you burn the emu to the same DVD as the ISO/Rom?

well the emu is specifically made to run on the ps2.. so its not like you can just put any emu on it..
the emu comes as an iso normally and you just extract the iso and put the roms in the rom folder...
but you do need to have a way to play backups or else the cd-r/dvd-r wont run
