Are there any RPGs for MAME and NEOGEO? How come there aren't any?

Hey good question... but i doubt it... since it would take lots & lots of money to pass a game... Well at least there's Side Scrolling games ^_^

Dungeons and Dragons did put out tower of doom and shadow over mystaria which had strong role playing elements.
I also like an old game called Gate of Doom.
As far as neo geo goes, there were a few, but they havent made it to emu yet which is sad, especially Samurai Spirits which is based on the Samurai Showdown world.
The problem with arcade  rpgs is that it wasnt logical to assume that people would be willing to shell out quarters to the point of actually moving a character along.

There's also the Gauntlet Legends games. They're kinda like Action RPGs. Not on MAME though.
