I would just like to know this quickly, has there actually been an emulator produced for PS2, which allows acceptable fps? If so, proof would be nice.

Sadly, No.

Oh well, that makes sense anyway, since you'd need a pretty good PC to run a PS2 game, even more so when running it along with the rest of windows and through an emulator. Guess we'll have to give it another few years

Just a bit of help for you guys here: I've heard that some of the PS2 Emulators have a nasty side-effect on PCs: trojans. Lots and lots of 'em. If I were you guys, I'd hold off on the PS2 Emulators until a safe one comes out. A good place to seek information about a safe one would be in various forums on the net (Like this one.) Users of such emulators usually discuss their faults and better alternatives. Remember, no matter how cool a free product is, never, ever, download software that prompts you to install some stupid searchbar or requires you for some odd reason to click 'yes'. As for me, I'm not getting into the PS2 emulation thing because it does sound kinda dangerous (I already have a PS2 and I'm not gonna damage my PC with PS2 Emulator.) EPSXE almost screwed up my PC so I'm not trusting another CD-ROM based emulator

Errr, I actually have to agree with matt here... epsxe is "safe." Unless you, of course, DID download it off kazaa. Never download any emulators from there...
I haven't seen any virus or trojans in ps2 emulators... and if they do appear... well, they appear in everything. And the probability is more, as matt stated, if downloaded of kazaa.

Samurai Fox, I'd sa you've just had bad luck, mate.
