Okay, you gotta help me out here! Recently I started playing Pokémon Crystal on a GameBoy Color Emulator. (Ducks various flying objects) Yes, I know that a lot of people don't like Pokémon, and I used to feel the same way, but dammit! those games hook you... I can't help it, I gotta cach 'em all. So... since I'm running an emulator, a certain problem presents itself: Trading. Without it, I'll be denied great Pokémon like Alakazam, Gengar, Machamp, Golem, Steelix, Sloking.... the list goes on! Yes, I can use GameShark codes to cach 'em in the wild, but it isn't the same.
So, I need a GameBoy Color Emulator capable linking. I've used an emu called No$GMB for a while, but while it both allows you to trade and provides the best damn GB/SGB platform I've ever seen, the GBC part is only open for 'registered users' (which means mailing money to Germany... no thanks.), so it shuts down after about five minutes (which is just exactly not enough to make a trade).
So, I tried a little GBC emu called Rew, which should supposedly allow for linking, but while it did allow me to enter the "Trade Center", every attempt to initialize an actual trade inevitably ended with one screen frozen on "Please Wait!" for good, and the other on a crashed trade screen with his own Pokémon listed over an endless row of eggs... http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cry.gif
So, PLEASE HELP ME! Tell me where I can find an Emu that can do it, please?
