<font color='#000000'>I am looking for a snes emulator for a pentium 233 MMX.. The new versions out there dont work very well.. run slow.. can you please help me with this problem??

<font color='#000000'>Did you try, ZSNES? if that is still to slow try th dos version and make sure you don't run in it a windows dos box... be out of windows... if that still to slow... then... try checking the emulator specific sites(such as snes9x.com's archives (http://www.snes9x.com/downloads.asp?Archive=1)) and looking for the older versions...</font>

<font color='#000000'>the newest version of Snes9X should run fine. i played it on a 300Mhz computer before. was a choppy but it did run</font>

<font color='#000000'>I just tried after seeing your last post (using the link i provided above) and I got there fine, I even managed to download an older version (then laer deleted it because I didn't need it...) and it worked fine...

<font color='#000000'>Zsnes is a little faster than snes9x and runs smoother on slow systems woth frameskip. However, do mind that it might miss some input commands you enter.</font>

<font color='#000000'>I don't know why it'd miss commands, never happen with me, but if you're using the dos version of ZSNES, make sure you switch away from 8-bit graphics mode, it distorts a lot of colors and graphics. Unless it's running too slowly of course.</font>
