Dont ask here !!!!! LMAO

I cant beleive how deaf people are. Just reading a bit before this post.

Im just lookin for some advice. Im a huge mame fan and just starting to mess with Nintendo roms and emulators. Just some questions:

What plays .nes and .smc roms best, together (if posible) and can save games in play such as zelda?

Whats cool spot made for nintendo too? I know it was made for sega but ive got cool spot for ZSNESW which i think is a nintendo emulator.

My wife would really like to save playing zelda. It doesnt look posible with nesemu2, or am i in need of some instructions?

Thats about all i can think of right now, thanks

.nes is NES ROMs, .smc is Super NES ROMs. Cool Spot was made for SNES. Just about any and every emulator will save games.
There is no NES and SNES emulator that I know of.
ZSNES is a SNES (only) emulator, and is for MS-DOS. ZSNESW is the Windows version of said emulator.

For playing SNES games, use ZSNES or SNES9x.
For playing NES games, use any unofficial Nester, FCE Ultra, NESten, or RockNES. They are currently the best ones IMO.

I use Snes9X and ZSNES for Super Nintendo (.smc)
and I use FCE Ultra for Nintendo (.nes)
there is no way to play them together, they are completely seperate systems...
to... err... save while in the game you save like a normal system would save... or you could use a save state to save "exactly" (point to point) where you are in a game, but each emulator uses a different system to do so...
Snes9X you press from F1-F8 to load a save state (save states 1-8...) or you hold down shift and press F1-F8 to save to that spot...
FCE Ultra you press a number (1-0) to "choose" a state, then you press F5 to save to that state, and F7 to load from that state...
And ZSNES by default uses a system similar to FCE Ultra or you can change it to be like Snes9X (I think)...
When you save a state it doesn't affect another game, ie: if your done playing Super Mario World and you decide to play Zelda w/o losing your spot, you could save to state 1 (or F1 for Snes9X) and load Zelda and save once again on F1 and it wont effect your game in Mario...

You will probably find that general console systems are quite a bit different from mame...

And welcome to EmuXHaven! Hope you enjoy your stay!
