I was kinda hoping to get Shell Monsters out by tomarrow (15 years after it came out), but then my computer kinda crapped out.

First, my gamepad died. Then I went to get a new one. I find USB only (so I gotta get a USB card for my USB-deprived computer in addition to a pad).
So I get the card home, find it doesn't accept it right away. So I hastily re-format (but not hastily enough to back-up my projects to CDs, so no worries there).
Now my modem didn't work. :eplus2: My friend suggested that maybe my power supply's not strong enough to support all my devices correctly, so I pull out the TV card (I figure it's the one device I can go without). So I guess that means I have to choose between USB or TV. :( Oh well. Just thought I'd post this to let you know what's up, and now I get to re-install my video card drivers so I can get out of this blinding 16-color (yes, 16-color, not 16-bit-color, like normal) mode I'm typing in.

Awwww...I feel your pain. Computers do that kind of crap now and then. :(

Good luck.

Blame Bill Gates for making Windows thus ^_^
Anyway, good luck to ye. You might ask if you have any troubles...some might be able to help you.

B) Why don't you just buy the new one or upgrade some devices like power supply, motherboard or something else. :P

I would like to add that I think my HD's failing. I'll try to get more progress done, but if I disappear, it's because my HD crashed (I'm thinking of upgrading/fixing my computer, but I gotta try and get some Christmas shopping done).
Well, I still got another computer sitting around, but it's a REEEAAALL old one that's good for checking the internet, but not much emu stuff.

Computers are crap eh? I'd say ask family for a new comp for christmas... My old comp died and now I'm on a much better system.. Also you might want to check out Ailen wear computers they're really fast up to date and powerful.. Best gaming machines ever... Also you might wanna try to see if you've ben picking up viruses... Those tend to cause hell on a system...

B) virus is a dangerous thing in the internet. Don't ever play with them or they will eat your computer :eplus2: .

Just wanted to give AlienWare another "thumbs-up". I like their specs, and they're one of the few companies out there (of which I know) that will let me build an AMD system. Falcon Northwest is also good, but I don't reccomend that for people who don't already know how to build their systems physically.

In short: Falcon-NW has a better selection of hardware, but AlienWare is more buyer-friendly. :)
