I used to use UltraHLE on my old PIII 500mhz comp with a voodoo 3. However now I got a new computer and I'm wondering which emulator would be the best to fit my new comp:
amd athlon xp 1.4ghz
256mb ddr ram
geforce3 ti200 (gainward)
turtle beach santa cruz sound card
90 gig hd
32x burner
16x dvd-rom
I don't know why but UltraHLE doesn't seem to work on my system. The glide wrappers won't work. UltraHLE just hangs there. So please recommned me a good emulator to use thanx.

For those specs? Go for Project64 & 1964!
...don't forget Apollo http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
but it might be a little slow

There's also Nemu64, Daedalus and TR64 http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
But Doom's right, use PJ64 and 1964, those are the best for now.

My!
You forgot Corn, UltraHLE and SupraHLE, TRWin, maybe more...
Even though, they're not so quite good...

I didn't forget them, he already said UltraHLE doesn't work.
And Corn and TRWin are dead emus that play 10% of the games... That's not enough to be mentioned, no offense to the authors tho, they did pioneer the N64 emu scene, and Corn is still the fastest and TRWin was the first TR port.
You might as well list Blade64, Dream64, Mupen64, N64VM, NIN64, NINCEST64, NSFE, Pagan, PC64, Project Unreality (1st N64 emu! ), Sunset and Ultra 64 if you want to get that deep.
Project 64 + Glide64 (http://glide64.emuxhaven.net) rocks!!!

1964 + glide64 rocks even more.
And btw, if you've got an intel card, it rocks EVEN MORE!
Well...we shall try n' find an AMD compiler, so that athlon users can enhoy it too http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
