I can't agree with that. 1964 is still second best.
Pj has gameshark activator keys support and (maybe) more cheats. It also has a better cheat dialog. It puts the cheats into categories which is very nice.

But 1964 is overall very good now.

A little quote from the authors of 1964 , they posted this on the emutalk boards :

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">0.8.3 removed
I've removed 0.8.3 from the 1964 website. Too many new problems unfortunately went undetected until after release.

- 98 crash if more than 21 roms in the rom browser.
- Slowdown still not fixed.
- Freezes after a while.
- Cannot view in windowed mode.

We do not have the time to fix these problems right now, but rest assured they will be fixed. Please use 0.7.3. Sorry to ruin your weekend. Let the flaming begin.
I guess there are too many bugs in it...

uhum Long live Ultrat um Ultrahle o and Pj64 !

Personally I think that 1964 is 3rd.

UltraHle is first http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif b/c of speed (no. 1 on the emu scene)

PJ64 second, very stable, relatively fast, compatability nice, great gfx, and sound, love the input plugin platform

1964->faster than Uhle, very high compatability, uses same plugins as pj, but, it is just to unstable for me, sorry 1964, maybe when the fixed version comes out, it'll move up to no. 1

some speed issues I did noticed, but none of the other problems are here http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

UltraHLE is nothing special in my computer...

I don't know if these problems with 1964 will occour for me, since I've not had much problems with it. The small time I did run it, it had no problems. And since I've got XP, there's no problem of crashing.

UltraHLE: face it--it's dead and low comptability!
Corn: Don't make me think of it! Very poor compability and gfx...

In short: Pj64 -- 1st, 1964 -- 2nd

speed isnt a problem for me i almost always get a smooth 60 fps

brightman

I get it in many games too, but some i get at 35 fps and some at 45 fps for PJ64.

Me too... But in what games? I am sure you don't get full speed with ALL games in PJ64. That's what I meant. I get better speed in many slower games in 1964 than in PJ64.
thats true, but in 1964 i get sometimes more break in sound

Pssh... Yeah right. Full speed in the 5 games you have doesn't mean it's full speed in ALL games. Some games do not run at full speed with a 2.4 GHz computer.

Exactly my point. http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif And 1964 runs those faster--for me anyway.

The Player of Doom

Well, mmm, yes, I do have a very little amount of games. But still, at my specs, even the most requiring games runs at full speed. Except at some, and some special moments, like in the Mario Party games.
