Nice...Huh? The reason I say it looks better, is that the Upper and Lower case letters are now lined up evenly. where as they werent before.

I agree. Looks fantastic. I cannot wait to implement the new text as well!

Yeah, the font looks so much better than the one that came with the game. Good job!
(Equipped is spelled wrong tho, I guess you can't fit that in? And how do you equip potions? http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif )

In FF2 you can equip items. That way in battle you can use it.

Too Bad FF1 Isn't all that easy. A lot of length problems due to their Hiddious coding thats in there. Though it looks nice so far, FF2 that is, FF1 is still at it's same ole status. heh heh.

So still no progress, eh? I thought Dboy finished the script or something tho

Well I think their problem is the encoding methods, and the hold up is from the games programming, and not the scripts. Which is understandable. It uses some very strange method of displaying text in the menus. And it uses some compression. But I dont really think that is the major problem either. But in order to release a really good quality translation, you need to have a compiler so that you can change the games programming and add to it. And I don't think there is one for WSC that is available to the public yet. So any asm would have to be manually put in. Yuck...

Oh ok, I thought by "same old status" he meant it was still in the stage that those screenshots were in http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
Sounds like a hassle though.

FF1 seems to be a very very nasty game to hack. Though i think Squaresoft used the same methods to make FF2, just this time they knew HOW to properly do it, and thats why it's so easy.. just what i think .. cause FF1 is very messy.. a lot of junk thats there and that shouldn't be there, 16 blocks of the same text.. geez a lil excessive..

Hmm... That reminds me. Is there a reason why every WSC game seem to be 4 MB/32 Mbit?
