Whats the best plugin for Zelda OoT? I use P64, and have a Pent3, Voodoo3. Jabo 7 works good but there's still texturing problems on sprites, and with the sky.

First off, make sure u have the latest Drivers (http://www.voodoofiles.com) for the card
Download Setupvb6p (http://www.emuxhaven.net/emuxhaven/n64/extra/setup_vb6.exe) and SetupControl (http://www.emuxhaven.net/emuxhaven/n64/extra/setup_dcontrol.exe) Run the Program and Disable the Advanced AGP...

I think I'll try with both P64 and Ultra HLE. P64 is working good at the moment -the controls are responsive as hell; especially since installing new drivers from the link Tekken1096 posted. The other 2 programs Tekken posted up haven't brought up a GUI control panel, but they seemed to install a bunch of graphic support files.
Ultra Hle reads out Error Loading when loading Zelda: there's probably something really obvious you do to get around this---
if Goldeneye+ anybody knows --post in this thread.

Whats the error u get with Ultrahle

well, there are a lot of things you have to do to get uhle working, what's that file name....glide2x.dll I think it is (not sure) is the file that is missing right?, well sence you are on a voodoo card, you need to d/l the voodoo fix at emuxhaven, (emuxhaven.net (http://www.emuxhaven.net)) Then copy the missing file into the uhle directory, Now you need to get the latest ini for ultrahle, Next open the ini, and scroll down until you see a line that asks for the directory of your roms, fill in the dir. Now open up the emulator, your roms should show up on the list, doubble click to load the rom, If you still get an error, make sure the dir of uhle doesn't have any spaces.
EX.
C:\UltraHle <--Good
C:\Ultra Hle <--Bad
Also note that you can't configure the input keys, you have to use the following configuration:
A=A
B=X
Start=S
Z=Z
R=V
L=C
C-u=I
C-L=l
C-D=k
C-R=g (I think... but just for that last key, if not it's f)
but all this configuration is well worth it, there will hardly be any errors at all in the emulation (except the lense of truth and the ending)
Any more questions, just ask

Ultrahle, which used to read out 'Error Loading' when you click the rom, now begins a loadup/ but the screen stayz black.
=>dummest question I can think of....> ?? Now what??

>+ I found the control panel 4 Direct Control via the little iconz in windows. There's allot of options; and I'm not familiar with about 90% of them....
I'd really like to keep trying with P64 as well, because I'm saved up 2 the Dodongos Cavern on Death Mountain-- which is pretty far; but in peoples houses itz like flying blind...Either all Red or all Green... + its the same in Hyrule Market; which will really hold up any gameplay >>> http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cwm28.gif
Tekken1096: switching off Advanced AGP added some textures where there was none bfore. There's still allot of texture missing tho > http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smokin.gif

I would strongly suggest using UltraHLE as it's much faster. I can supply you with a saved game file at dodongos cavern if you want. Just follow Teks and Goldeneyes instructions as it's quite hard at first but if you do everything in a systematic way and don't forget anything it will work.
Lol and don't forget to edit the ini file like I did and caused Tek a lot of trouble. It does make a difference.
So what's with this hamburger?

Uhle is totally hard to get working.
I've done the ini & everything -still only get a black screen.
Whisp: the save state will be brilliant ->if I get the damn-thing working. -but I'm up2 Jabujabu's belly now-
all the dungeons play fine>> http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/withstupid.gif http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/withstupid.gif http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cwm40.gif

Works with Corn actually http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
But Link has the "pig face" then http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif which is very funny.
The only bad thing is, that, when I tried it on Corn, it always crashed http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif
