I believe this is the boss of the game. If you think there's enough missiles in Virtual On, try this one. I've once had about 20 missiles all locked onto me before.....
Very addictive game that require some skills. 4 mecha to choose from, each with their own weapons but have 4 sub weapons to pick for the battle.

More screens. This time it's my highest score in a single fight.

When all your armor's lost, you'll recieve a armor low sign to warn you because sooner or later your mecha will blow up on its own. You cannot use any of your weapons except close combat weapon. This is a winning pic where both me and the cpu mech are at the low armor stage but I smashed the enemy at close combat. Part luck and part skill, I would say.
Ahh this looks pretty sweet. I've been craving a Mech game since I totally conqured Omega Boost and Armored Core:MOTA. /me goes and DL's
Thnx for the Info TechYS. http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

yea thanks for the info on this game!
and omega boost was pretty damn weak, cero.
virtual on was good http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Bah Omega Boost Rocks.
And a word of warning, I found the game to be unplayably slow at times. Specs:
T-Bird 1.2 Ghz
Geforce 2 Ti
512 MB Ram
So I'm gonna go ahead and blame the game for the slowdown.
Nevermind, my mistake. Silly drivers.....
Must.....Get....700..........
0wnage...now if only I could get the same kind of score on the later lvls :P

Anyone beside me got to the last boss? I almost owned him today but his nuke tied the game........
Ahh no not I. If it wasnt tourney style fighting (a small heal after every fight instead of a full life bar), I'd 0wn this game. I can make it as far as Lvl 4, then I'm toast.

Hey Cero, try beating the last boss. If you ever meet him, here's some tips.
Attack him at close range. This way you can avoid his multi-missiles easily as well as his tri-plasma blaster (you thought your mecha had a good plasma blaster, wait until you confront his, you'll be toast in probably two direct hits due to your low armor, other mechas can take about three hits before blowing up). Slash him as hard as you can before he fries you. When his armor is low, get away and use the strongest far range weapon you got. He'll release two nuke missiles and avoid those at all cost. Kill him before either those missiles (huge ones) hit you or explode by itself, forcing a draw.
I finally reached Minotaur the other day, and I must say that is one tough SOB. His Multi Missle is nigh on unavoidable. even if u dodge the bulk of it, at least 1 still connects. And his Tri Plama Beam is pretty easy to dodge in comparision with his Multi Missle. Fly close, then swing to either side. I have yet to see the nukes tho. One day, I will 0wn him.....

It would make an ok gba game though.

Hmm, looks fair. I prefer ground-walking mechs though. Try Heavy Gear, now there's a classic!
If you want a good grounded mech game, try 1st Century After Tsunami 2265(PC) or Armored Core: Master of The Arena(PS1). Both are really good. Armored Core is quite hard tho and not to be taken lightly...
