I think thats a CloneCD or CDRWin file??

I dunno, just find an ISO program that burns IMG files (like WinISO) and use it.

This is the only intruction that I get with the file.
any idea?

1. Burn this image to a CD using Adaptec EZ CD Pro 2.1
2. Run this CD on your playstation
3. Insert and Play your copied cd's without needing a modded psx!
.. Repeat steps 2 and 3 each time you wish to play a copied CD.

allright, those 3 files are clone cd files, download clone cd (free to try) and burn it to a cd, if that doesn't work, use the program that they say to use, then insert the cd that you made, wait for it to load, it should give you an instruction, like plz insert burned game now or something, then open the psx cd cover, take out the boot disc, then insert the game, close the lid, then press whatever buttons it says to press, or it should boot automatically.

Hope this helps..

P.S. I have never d/l one of these cds, I do not own an actual psx I am just repeating info I've gathered on the internet, and from personal experience

Hehe.. THERE'S NO WAY U CAN MAKE A BOOT UP CD IN STANDARD BURNERS! ... They only way u can burn a boot up cd is to press it! Or to have a special burner that lets u burn bad sectors. Try to buy a mod-chip or a cd-boot up(its easier)... or if want to try the switch cd method if u have a psx(doesn't work in all psx, and may wreck ur cd/psx spinner). Look around the web for the info on how to get the modchip or do the switch method... I do know the method and where to buy a REAL mod-chip/CD-boot up... but cause it raises leagal issues i can't.

btw there is hacks of the cd-boot up, but when u burn it, u will get another coaster O_o... if u need more coasters go a head and test it ^_^...

yes , it is quick and painless. And you wont have to put a boot disk in and boot the system every time you try playing a game.

It isnt expensive either. Hek PS2 mods are like 50 buks.

you can buy a mod-chip or a mod cd thingie, (like you are trying to make) at www.modchip.com, (hope this isn't against the rules) the chips are like 15 bucks and the cd is ~39 no shipping charges (figures in $)

The difference is that the chips require you to open your playstation and solder (use a hot special iron and solder, (tin) to connect the chip to the board in specific places) usually modchips use under 8 wires, but be careful, soldering in a mod-chip could ruin your psx if your not careful, and opening it voids your warrenty.

Well I wouldn't say the mod-chip is beter, the only reson I bought the mod chip is 1) I know how to solder(The fumes gave me a headache), 2) I don't like switching cd's too many times, 3) it's cheaper!, 4) I have GameShark Lite.... The cd-boot has A gameshark and some other features, U don't need to open ur PSX up and solder stuff... If u don't know how to solder & or don't have a Sodering Iron, ur best and ONLY choice should be to buy the CD-boot up disk. Or pay a guy to do it for u(which i don't recommend!).

Ahh the only diff, and I dont think is was mentioned, is some games wont play on ur PSX if its been modded. Example of this is Dino Crisis. So thats 1 advantage the CD has over the Chip.

Bah, it is true. You yourself just confirmed it http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif It just depends on ur mod chip. And yes Babyoche, some games wont let u play them if ur sys has been modded. It was to lock out pirateers and such, but its just plain gay...

Most of the new 989 sports games are mod-chip protected, some of work with the new stealth mod chip, some don't...Just have to experinment, (like have both or something)

It's all got to do with the type of modchip and the version of psx you have. My psx is in the 5xxx series and I found out that the 5xxx series (even with a NEW stealth mod-chip) can't play ntsc games in colour! I only found that out after I got it modded. Oh and Vagrant Story doesn't seem to work with my psx but spiderman does. Yes and get someone who really knows what he is doing to install your chip. I thought I could do it but sadly found out that I'm actually pretty crap at soldering!!! ...that and I f***ed up my psx and it costed me $32 to get the thing fixed and get the chip installed. http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cwm23.gif At least thats behind me now! http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Go to your local game seller store and ask for the "Goldfinger" for the ps. It just pops right in back of the parralell port and thats it..No taking apart the ps. It costs 30.00 bucks. I tryed the same thing like you did and had no success so I bought the goldfinger...It plays copies and imports!!
