Uh...hi guys. I need some help for Silent Hill on epsxe 1.5.1 uh....I open it and it goes through the asortment of annoying ads. Then on the last ad the screen just goes blank white. And theres no sound during the ads...but i don't know if thats normal. Can anyone help? I've tried every pete gpu plugin ogl..dx6...dx7. I have a GeForce 2 mx 400 (dunno if that matters prolly it does but...dunno) I use ePSXe alot so I mostly know how to fix the bugs...but this one has me baffled. (I put on the mask bit too (I heard thats a requirement for this game)) So any help would be really helpfull hehe http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif Thx in advanced

Yup, the lockup is a problem with ePSXe. You need to download a savestate to bypass the title screen. I forgot where to get it so search around...

How can a save state exist AFTER the title screen since it always locks-up?? http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

Thanks guys. I figured out how they got the save for it. It works on the 1.4 version. (Which I didn't know when I posted but anyways) So I'll just save then use it on 1.5.1. But thanks. http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Yeah, that's what I thought at first, but I didn't want to say something wrong. Good to hear that it works.

Well... there's supposed to be some cheats that bypasses things like this in the emulator. I don't know if there's any for that game, though.
