WinXP is very RAM intensive, I suggest you get at least 128 MB RAM.

Or if you have the cash, just max out your mother board.

Well I dunno how much ram I have but it must be alot. I run WinXP Prof with Windows Blinds. While playing ePSXe, with all graphic options all the way up (Pete's OpenGL plugin), I can have Photoshop 6 running, then alt-tab my way back to ePSXe and still have it run all games smoothly:D...How ram would you guys think I have and how would I check?

P.S. I do run ePSXe in a 512x384 window. But is only cause if I make it full screen with bigger or small resoltion the backrounds in games like Chrono Cross do not look good. I COULD use full screen with all of the above things running but I don't do to crappy backrounds. Is there anyway to make backrounds on games like Chrono Cross still look good in full screen?

Well, I think 128 MB RAM should be enough, I think installing WinXP put your memory management off-wack. Try getting rid of as many background tasks as possible and changing stuff around.

Memory info and other computer specs should be available in
here (file:///C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\dxdiag.exe).

If you think the bg in Chrono Cross look pixelated you either enable filtering or live with it. Personally I prefer looking at pixelation rather than playing it on a small screen like that.

<font color='#000000'>128 mb ram is not enough at all!
256 is minimum for good performance.
Actually, the minimum requirement for xp is 64 mb ram.

I *strongly suggest you upgrade.
