Commercial reality!
After some recent breakthroughs and important feature additions such as support for direct loading from cd-rom discs, ZeZu msg'd me to say that he had gotten some display output from Sega Smash Pack! Please however do NOT expect a rush of activity from commercial games, since there is still a huge amount of information to be reversed out, and many parts of the dreamcast to be implemented/rewritten. Work is still centred around Katana samples / homebrew software :- in particular sound / g2dma is of much current interest, with an ARM co-processor core (originally from Boycott Advance, thx Julien!http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif in-place and executing and being loaded with code already. The ARM real-time-clock has also been recently emulated, and provides the exact pc date/time to software that requests it.
Anyhow, here are 3 screenshots of Sega Smash Pack. Only the main menu works at this time.
