I just recently decided I'd try psx emulation for the heck of it.  So I asked a friend for a psx game and he gave me "Wipe out" (on my request) so right now I'm trying to play wipeout on epsxe v1.5.1,  all the video is fine, it's just that there is no music during the races....there is sound effects and everything else....just no music, nor in the menu's.  I'm using, well, I'm using pete's v1.14 Dsound audio plugin.  I'm just consirned with the audio, rj helped me configure everything else.

Try turning on CDDA Sound if you have that off(I don't have the game but the music might be in the CD) If that doesn't turn on/off SPU IRQ. Also you might want to try Eternal SPU because that emulate sound more accurately than Pete's SPU.

And Null2's, since it emulates more stuff than the others (well, some), but it tends to crash if some sound if unemulated http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

Null2 isn't as good as Eternal. It distorts a lot of SFX.
