Last save states not Supported...

I've made made a save right before I beat Card fighters but since the flash rom saves weren't supported in the last version of neopop I couldn't continue on. Now in game saving is suported but, the old Save states aren't. I really don't want to start all over again, so I'm asking is there a way for me to load my old states states again???

Well I don't have time to make a state converter - but you could hack the state yourself using the source code as a reference and a hex editor.

First change the version number to the latest one, then add in the exact amount of empty data to pad out the dma values (see 'state.h' and count the bytes).

In future i'll make sure that older versions load as best I can. I don't think I will need to change things again - I simply forgot the DMA registers in version 0.43.

Ok... Looks like a gave it a try and found myself completely lost. I got a hex editor and the source code, then http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/eek.gif when I loaded up the states and looked at the code, I noticed I didn't know what the heck I was doing. I don't understand how to modify the old save states to new ones, and I really don't want to bother playing CARD FIGHTER all over again. I have tried the tips given above, and have gone nowhere. It would be really helpful if any one of you out there is kind enough to put a little tutorial on how to do this stuff.
