I hope you like the improvements - Sonic is now playable past the first level - I got to some 'Casino Land' stage before I died.
Enjoy

This is excellent news, I have been dying to get my hands on that source code to help improve the sound emulation.

Nope, my nick comes from my program which is located at my signature. I am another emulator author but have been following the development of Neopop for ages. I specialize in sound emulation so this is a golden day for me.

To answer a question a few of you have asked: No, I have not given up on the project - I just need some help with bits of it! If people make fixes improvements and send them to me then i'll try to include them - otherwise you can make an unofficial build under the terms of the licence (ie. you don't try and take all the credit! - but I know none of you would do that http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif )
Meridian: Good luck! I hope you can get the DAC emulation working better - i'd recommend having another buffer, playing at the right speed - and let the sound card do the frequency adjustments.
Cheers,

PS. Version 0.51 is out - the code is a lot tidier now!
