I have tried to improve the sound code by doing a complete rewrite of the sound emulation routines. This included the removal of the stereo option since as far as I can tell, the NGP was not a stereo output system. Also, DAC support has been removed for now but will be added back in as soon as I find a good way to do it.
If you guys think this sounds better then please let me know and I will send the code to neopop_uk.
Hopefully the attached file works for you guys.

One of the channels sound a little high-pitched, and the digital sound channel seems to be missing (or is it?)
But it sounds so much clearer! Maybe its due to the lack of noise?

Thanks for the input. I will try to improve it and post up another file as soon as I get time.

Sorry to tell you, but the NGPC is a stereo system (both chip and DAC).
I'm interested that you've improved the quality though! I hope you get positive results.

Yeah, after further study I do believe you are correct. This explains a few things that had my confused. I should be able to fix everything up nicely and get some good sound out of this thing soon.

I look forward to any help you can give!
(BTW. I prefer mono sound, but I want to have the option.)
