When will we have a new version of neopop?

<font color='#000000'>Sorry to say but i don't think that neopop_uk is going to do anymore work on Neopop. neopop_uk emailed me and indicated that he most likely will not work on Neopop again. Perhaps one day in the far future... unless other authors want to pick it up and update it...</font>

I don't think that neopop_uk has any particular obligation to continue development - personally, I just wish him well in whatever he does next. Neopop is a great piece of work, but the law of diminishing returns does apply - there's only so much that can be done before the effort required to do it outweighs the advantages achieved.

If you're that worried about updates, maybe you should dig up the source code and have a look at it yourself ;)

I'm sure that someone will take up the reins (it seems, with the x-box and other ports, that people already are...) I really don't think that neopop will die down that easily.

<font color='#000000'>Hi, There is work being done (not by me) on a 'big endian' version of NeoPop. The authors are writing it for PowerPC based Mac's at the moment - as far as I know.

I don't know the precise details yet and I haven't had a chance to try out the version i've been sent (shame on me). But I guess I'll get around to adding this version to the site at some point in the future...
