I was wondering why there isn't windowed mode supported by Glide? Does it really screw up the graphics or?

Glide was designed for fullscreen only. However...I do remember there being some windowed related talk in the Glide3 SDK, but it's been a long time since I've read it.

Hi guys,

Yes, I remember reading about that too. But as I recall there were a lot of problems getting it to work for some people, and it was very slow.

eVoodoo as of the version i have now supports windowed http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif  I'm working with McLeod to make it so you don't have to push Alt+Enter also

*gasp*! Windowed mode using Glide?!?! Word up! Now if only No Mercy worked correctly :-D

No, not windowed in glide, but if you're willing to run the wrapper you can do windowed.

Well even so...it's the same thing...all the wrapper does is trick your computer into thinking you're using a Glide-based video card. Now where can I get my hands on this wrapper?

Word...thanks for the link, but where do I put these files? In the emulator plugin directory, or?

Just place the files in the emulator's directory.

And what directory would that be? C:\emulator or C:\emulator\plugin?

I put them in the emulator's root directory and well it didn't run in windowed mode like it is supposed to and to top it off it made it look like crap (compared to my normal Voodoo 3's Glide). But thanks for the help nonetheless.

I think for that windowed feature you'll have to wait for the next new release.
