And I have heard and seen how good glide 64 so my delema is this: how in the heck do ya get glide 64 to work on either emus and could it be due to lack of a vid card of a certain type

Do you have a voodoo card?? Glide64 is for voodoo and if you dont have one then you'll need a glide wrapper ( evoodooX) which can be found in www.emuxhaven.net/pluginn64.html#wrapper
unzip its contents in the emulators main directory ( folder ) and then try to configure your video plugins to use glide64. eVoodooXP is only for people who dont have a voodoo card!

Actually for project64, you have to put the Glide64 DLL (at least that and possibly the INI) in the plugin sub-directory of the emulator's folder. So like C:\project 64\plugins.
Personally I would just unzip the whole zip file of Glide64 into the plugin directory.

I personally like to put it in my windows\system directory too. It's no problem with that.
