Dave,

How do you decide when to release a version of your plugin ?

Is it maybe when you make a big breakthrough, or very important development. Or maybe just a spur of the moment kind of thing ?

uhm good question... i would guess when there was a good improvement over the last version.. but every author is different.

Whenever I release new versions (of other stuff) it's because either a decent amount of bugs have been fixed, or something major has been redone. It's never a set date, because it's impossible to know what stage the code will be at when you get there http://www.emuxhaven.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

But like Angel316 said, each and every author is completely different.

Hi guys,

Cpu, I'd never bother an author with such a request.

Anyway, I've got more than enough Emu material (emulators/plugins/tools) to be getting on with, and am happy with that.

Yes, I've noticed the amount of people who just can't help themselves asking for roms and release dates.

From what I've seen, it's after a major breakthru, or after a certain major feature is completed.
